Nettles sported a white pant suit with a long pink train bearing the words, "Equal play" and "Play our f*@#!n records. Please and thank you!" A representative for the singer-songwriter said Nettles decided to "turn fashion into action" at this year's event.
"Her hope is to inspire the conversation about country music's need to play more women artists on radio and playlisting," the representative said.
The Sugarland singer's outfit was designed by Christian Siriano and New York street artist Alice Mizrachi.
