MADISON, Wis. - A Madison teen was attacked and robbed Saturday night as he was walking across a parking lot on the south side, police said.

The 14-year-old was walking across a parking lot around 6:15 p.m. in the 2200 block of South Park Street when a car stopped near him, according to a release.

Three older teens, one the 14-year-old knows by a street name, jumped out of the car, officials said. Two of the older teens punched and kicked the victim while taking his cellphone, bus pass and backpack.

The victim described the car the teens were driving as a newer silver sedan, possibly a Pontiac.

The 14-year-old was not seriously injured, police said.
