Around $3,000 in road signs stolen from community in Dodge County

TOWN OF HUSTISFORD, Wis. - The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of road sign thefts.

Around 20 signs have been taken in the town of Hustisford over the past year, according to a Facebook post by the Sheriff's Office.

Barricades and warning flashers have also gone missing during this time.

If you have any information regarding these thefts, call the Dodge County Sheriff's Office at 920-386-3726.

If you observe someone removing a sign, the Sheriff's Office asks you to safely write down the person's license plate number and contact the department.

The Sheriff's Office says the cost of replacement signage will fall on taxpayers.
