Bulldozer hits gas line in Janesville

JANESVILLE, Wis. - A bulldozer hit a gas line in Janesville, affecting about two dozen customers Tuesday morning, a utility spokesperson said.

A report of a damaged gas line came in at 11:30 a.m. during the construction on Ruger Avenue, according to Alliant Energy.

Twenty-six customers were affected, the utility said. It was expected to take a couple of hours to get the gas back on Tuesday.
