Jayme Closs found alive, suspect in custody

BARRON, Wis. - A Barron County teenager who has been missing for 88 days has been found alive, according to a news release.

Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said Thursday night that Jayme was found by the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.

Jayme disappeared after her parents were found murdered at her home on Oct. 15.

Fitzgerald said that shortly after Jayme was found, a suspect was taken into custody.

"We do not any other details at this time as this is a very fluid and active investigation," Fitzgerald wrote.
