MADISON, Wis. - Police have arrested an out-of-state man in connection with a drug deal turned robbery on Madison's east side Wednesday, according to a news release.

Madison police have arrested one of two suspects connected to a drug-related armed robbery that took place in the East Towne Mall parking lot Wednesday afternoon.

According to the report, a 22-year-old Madison man and a 21-year-old Madison woman had arranged to sell a small amount of marijuana to an acquaintance. The acquaintance and a man they didn't know got into their car just before 5 p.m.
