MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin residents will have the option to stroll, roll pedal and glide their way down one of Madison’s busiest roads.
Ride the Drive returns May 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 .m.
Participants will get to experience the scenic views of Madison from John Nolen Drive without worrying about traffic. The route is closed to vehicles from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the day of the event, according to a release posted on the city’s website.
The route is 4 miles long. Family-friendly activities, food and entertainment will be available at there parks along the way: Brittingham Park, Olin Park and Law Park.
Ride the Drive is a free event that encourages people to lead an active lifestyle.
