WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - As the clock struck midnight on July 1st, Nevada became the latest state to legalize recreational marijuana.

Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman also became the first person ever to legally purchase recreational marijuana and asked for cannabis-infused coffee known as "BrewBudz."

Goodman spoke with KSNV-TV about his purchase and admitted he probably will not personally consume the drug. But the former mayor had some other ideas for who should use the marijuana he bought.

The potential recipients may surprise you.

The state says that they expect an additional $60 million in tax revenue as a result of the new law. Anyone over the age of 21 in the state will be allowed to purchase up to an ounce of marijuana.
