MILWAUKEE (WMSN)--A Milwaukee hospital tweeted the live details of a brain surgery Tuesday.
Geoffery Nestor has epilepsy and doctors at Aurora St. Lukes hospital performed a temporal lobectomy to help relieve his seizures.
Nestor agreed to let the hospital's social media director describe the entire operation on Twitter.
Nestor was awake during the surgery so he could give the doctors feedback about the procedure.
The neurologist and neurosurgeon explained what they're doing, which a hospital official tweeted to thousands of followers, along with twit pics of the procedure.
