Green Bay- Packers legend Bart Starr won five NFL Championships and two Super Bowls while quarterbacking the Packers from 1956-'71.  But his Packer career almost never was.

Starr, taken in the 17th round (there are only 7 rounds today), says the only reason he was drafted was because a hoops coach did him a huge favor.

"I was injured my final two years of college.  So I didn't have much of a resume. If it hadn't been for the basketball coach at the University of Alabama- where I went to school- who knew the director of player personnel here, I never would've been taken by the Packers.  It wasn't until the 17th round.  So just picture that."
