MADISON, Wis. -A man who stabbed his girlfriend at an east side home was sentenced in Dane County court Monday.

Eric Prunn was sentenced to 24 years in prison and 20 years of extended supervision for the stabbing.

He pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted intentional homicide in March after being arrested in September.
