Anderson heads to UW Hall of Fame

Madison - The UW Athletics Hall of Fame will unveil its 2018 class one-at-a-time from July 9-19. The first member of this year's class is one of the best basketball players in state history.

Jolene Anderson came to Madison as the all-time leading scorer in high school history, tallying 2,881 points at South Shore High School . She left as the all-time scoring leader in Badgers history, racking up 2,312 points from 2004-'08.

Anderson set the freshman school record for most points in a season with 497. She won the Big Ten scoring championship as a junior, and she became the first UW player to win Big Ten Player of the Year honors as a senior.

Anderson went on to play professionally in the WNBA, and she currently plays in Italy.
