#19 Wisconsin held off the Gophers in the second half to pick up a 56-51 win at Minnesota. The win avenges a 59-52 home loss from January 3rd.
The Badgers led 24-21 at halftime, and they never trailed after the break. D'Mitrik Trice put UW up 52-46 with a deep three-pointer with 1:44 to go in the second half, and the Gophers couldn't answer. He finished with nine points.
Ethan Happ led the Badgers with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Minnesota-native Nate Reuvers added nine points and eight boards for Wisconsin, who won its sixth straight game.
The Badgers improve to 17-6, 9-3 in Big Ten play, and pull into a tie for third with Michigan St in the conference standings.
Minnesota falls to 16-7, 6-6.
