Bennett fined for defending Rodgers

Rodgers said he appreciated Bennett coming to his defense. "It meant a lot to me, it really did," Rodgers said. "Any time your teammates do something like that, it's special."

Green Bay- Packers tight end Martellus Bennett stood up for quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Sunday's win over the Seahawks, and it'll cost him a little cash.

Bennett was fined $9,115 for knocking over Seattle linebacker K.J. Wright after Wright hit Rodgers on a scramble.

One Packers fan set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for the fine, but Bennett- who's making more than $8 million this season- said he has it taken care of.
