Brady, Patriots beat the Packers 31-17

The Packers were shut out 14-0 in the fourth quarter.

The Packers lost to the Patriots, 31-17, at Gillette Stadium on Sunday night. Aaron Rodgers threw the ball more than 40 times in the loss, and Green Bay struggled to stay injury-free on defense.

Kevin King, Kentrell Brice and Blake Martinez were all hurt in the game. Martinez returned to the sidelines in the 4th quarter, however.

Jermaine Whitehead was ejected from the game in the 1st half after he open-hand slapped a Patriots player who had a helmet on.

The Patriots were without Rob Gronkowski and Sony Michel - two key pieces of their offense.

The two teams were tied in the 3rd quarter, but Aaron Jones fumbled the ball on the first play of the 4th quarter. The Patriots scored two unanswered touchdowns after that.

Rodgers completed 24 of 43 passes, threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns, while Brady completed 22 of 35 passes, threw for 294 yards and one touchdown.

Former Badgers running back James White scored the first touchdown of the game. He finished with 103 total yards and 2 TD.
