Budenholzer agrees to coach Bucks

Budenholzer led the Hawks to four playoff appearances in five seasons.

Milwaukee - Mike Budenholzer has agreed in principle to be the next head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports that it's a four-year deal.

The former Spurs assistant coached the Atlanta Hawks from 2013-'18. The two sides mutually parted ways after the end of the regular season.

Budenholzer went 213-197 and made four playoff appearances with the Hawks. He was named NBA Coach of the Year in 2015.
