Clock strikes midnight for Badgers

Indianapolis- The Cinderlla run ended for the Wisconsin women's basketball team in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.

Cayla McMorris and Avyanna Young combined for 35 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough for the Badgers as they fell 70-63 to Michigan St.

Wisconsin entered as the 11 seed in the tournament and beat Rutgers in the first round. But the Spartans outscored UW 40-26 in the second half to pull away for the win. Tori Jankoska led Michigan St. with a game-high 22 points.

The Badgers' season ends at 9-22.
