Former Wisconsin safety D'Cota Dixon has signed with Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team was impressed by his showing at rookie minicamp, but he still has a long way to go to make the final roster.
Dixon missed four games due to injury last season, but he was still invited to the NFL Combine. Dixon went undrafted last month, but his entire body of work was enough to earn an invitation to Tampa Bay.
A Florida native, Dixon racked up 177 tackles and five interceptions as a three-year starter for the Badgers. He won the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award for "exceptional courage, integrity, and sportsmanship both on and off the field."
