Happ heads to G League Elite Camp

Happ ranks top-three in UW history in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks.

Former Wisconsin basketball star Ethan Happ has one more chance to impress NBA scouts. The Badgers' all-time leader in rebounds (1,217) and blocks (154) is heading to the first ever NBA G League Elite Camp in Chicago. 40 draft-eligible players will show their skills in front of NBA and G League brass from Sunday, May 12 through Tuesday the 14th.

Happ returned to Wisconsin for his senior season after drawing little interest from the NBA last year. Finished third all-time in points (2,130) and assists (423). His 217 steals are second-most in UW history. Happ is only the fourth player in Big Ten history with 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

Minnesota's Amir Coffey, Iowa's Tyler Cook, and Nebraska's James Palmer, Jr. are the other Big Ten players heading to Chicago.

The 2019 NBA Draft is Thursday, June 20th in Brooklyn.
