Koenig rolls ankle, still optimistic

Koenig led the Badgers with 14.5 points per game as a senior.

St. Francis, WI - Former Wisconsin Guard Bronson Koenig had his workout with the Bucks interrupted during one of the full court game sessions. Cameras were not allowed to shoot the entire practice, but Koenig rolled his ankle toward the end of the tryout and spent the rest of the afternoon on crutches.

Despite the injury, the former Badger standout thought he had a good showing. At 6'3" it's unclear whether his role on a team would be as the point guard or shooting guard, but Koenig said he can do both.

"Obviously every team is different. But y'know I know I can do either one," Koenig said. "I can handle the ball, I can make my teammates better, and I can also shoot the hell out of the ball. I was playing well. Hopefully I proved myself a little bit to everybody and showed what I could do a little bit.

Koenig led Wisconsin in scoring with 14.5 points per game last season. His 270 made three-points are a school record.
