Koenig waived by Bucks

Koenig graduated Wisconsin with a school-record 270 made three-pointers.

Milwaukee- The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on Bronson Koenig. The undrafted rookie from the University of Wisconsin originally signed a Two-Way contract on July 6.

In five games during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Koenig averaged 5.2 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest.

Koenig, a La Crosse native, started 70 of 71 games in his final two seasons and finished with a school-record 270 made three-pointers.

The Bucks have a crowded backcourt that includes Khris Middleton, reigning Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon, Matthew Dellavedova, Rashad Vaughn, Jason Terry, and Gary Payton II.
