Packers cut Bennett

Bennett signed a three-year deal with the Packers this offseason, but the team could attempt to void his contract.

Green Bay - The Martellus Bennett era in Green Bay is over.

The Packers cut the veteran tight end under the "Failure to Disclose Physical Condition" designation. Bennett hasn't played since October 22nd, and then he suddenly appeared on the team's injury report with a shoulder issue.

After catching 55 passes with a career-high 7 touchdowns for the Patriots last season, Bennett has just 233 yards with no TDs this year.

Bennett signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Packers this offseason, but the Packers could attempt to void the contract.
