The Packers have activated receiver Trevor Davis from injured reserve. He's been out since week two with a hamstring injury, but the team says he'll be practicing immediately.
Rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling's been the player who's stepped up the most in the absence of Davis and Geronimo Allison- who's scheduled to have surgery on his injured groin.
Valdes-Scantling leads the team with an average of 21.1 yards per catch. He's third on the team in receiving yards, and he second with seven catches of more than 20 yards.
"He timed fast, I'm sure, but he plays really fast," quarterback Aaron Rodgers said of Valdes-Scantling. "You have to respect the vertical routes with Marquez. He's made the most of his opportunities."
Marquez doesn't lack confidence, and he doesn't plan on slowing down with regard to his production. "They drafted me for a reason. I think I can be in this league for a long time. I just want to keep getting better every week."
The Packers (3-4-1) host the Dolphins (5-4) Sunday at 3:25 P.M. (CBS).
