Indianapolis- This is a big weekend for former Wisconsin offensive lineman Ryan Ramczyk. The first team all-American is projected to be a first round pick in next month's NFL Draft, and this weekend is the first chance to test his surgically-repaired hip at the NFL Combine.
Ramczyk had the procedure after the Cotton Bowl, but he says he is back to 100% healthy.
Some scouts think he'll be the first offensive lineman taken in the draft. Not bad for a guy who began his college career at UW-Stevens Point.
"Starting out at Division III school, it was always my goal to compete within myself and be the best I can possibly be," Ramczyk said. "It's always been my mindset to push myself to be that best guy. It kinda became a reality that I could maybe get into the NFL over the course of the two years at Madison. "
