Rodgers addresses knee injury

{ }Rodgers confirmed that he has a sprained left, but he wouldn't go into further detail.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed that he sprained his left knee in Sunday's win over the Bears. Rodgers didn't give any more specifics about the injury, but he said that wearing a brace is a definite possibility if he plays Sunday against Minnesota.

"I've dealt with foot injuries, calf injuries, hamstring, you know, lower extremities, and played with it," Rodgers said with a grin. "So hopefully I'll be able to be back out there Sunday... You just take it one day at a time. See how it feels tomorrow. See how it feels Friday, Saturday, and hopefully ready to go Sunday."

Rodgers did not practice today.

Head coach Mike McCarthy wouldn't be specific about Rodgers' status for week two, and he said Rodgers would be working in a rehab group on Wednesday. "He'll be given the whole week to get ready. We'll take it day-by-day."

Receiver Davante Adams also missed practice. He said he suffered a minor shoulder injury against Chicago.
