Rookie RBs mix work & play

The Packers chose Aaron Jones (UTEP) in the fifth round.

Green Bay- This offseason the Packers had definite need at the running back position. Free agent Eddie Lacy signed with Seattle, and the team to released Christine Michael and Don Jackson. General manager Ted Thompson picked three running backs in the draft, and they will all be fighting for the back-up spot behind starter Ty Montgomery.

Rookie camp was full of work, but one of the newest Green Bay running backs couldn't help himself from having a little fun.

"I'm really just having fun out there. Just enjoying this time. Just looking around the environment, the great people around here," said fourth round pick Jamaal Williams. "The great reporters, all you guys smiling! It just makes me feel at home."

Fifth rounder Aaron Jones also recognized the fact that all the running backs are aiming for the same spot, but they're going to have to help each other along the way. "We're all competing together, learning the offense together," Jones said. "If we see somebody mess up we help each other out. It's definitely nice to have each other there."
