Madison- Wisconsin junior Michael Deiter is making a move from center to left tackle, taking over the most important spot on the Badgers offensive line. Freshman Tyler Biadasz could end up being Deiter's replacement at center, but before he moves into the starting role Deiter wants to do everything he can to help Biadasz the same way he was helped.
"I really think it's because I remember being a redshirt freshman center who was going to start his first game ever and I had guys like Dan Voltz help me out. Tyler Marz helped me out," Deiter said. He said he remembers starting his first game against Alabama, and one of the things that stands out the most is how nervous he was. Deiter says he wants to do his part to help the next class of o-linemen.
"My true freshman year, Kyle Costigan and I just thought how much that helped me and really I'm just trying to pass on any knowledge that I learned from those guys or stuff I've learned playing down to Tyler because if I can help him get better, we can help this team get better."
