MADISON, Wis. — Drivers can expect more delays and traffic on the Beltline during the mid-day hours later this week.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says one lane in each direction is scheduled to be closed for construction as part of the ongoing Flex Lane project between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. from Tuesday until Thursday this week.
One westbound lane will be closed between Fish Hatchery Road and Verona Road, while one eastbound lane will be closed from Verona Road to John Nolen Drive. As part of the lane closures, the Fish Hatchery Road and Todd Drive ramps to the westbound Beltline and the Todd Drive ramp to the eastbound Beltline will also be shut down.
The DOT says it is expecting delays on the Beltline due to the lane closures and drivers should plan extra time to get through the area.
You can find out more about the Flex Lane project on the DOT’s website.
