GREEN BAY, Wis. — Aaron Rodgers has made it to Lambeau Field.
NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero tweeted a video of the Packers quarterback arriving at the stadium Tuesday morning for the team’s first day of training camp.
Just a few hours later, the Packers shared a photo of the MVP, marking his long awaited return.
The news comes on the tail end of a tumultuous off-season filled with rumors that Rodgers wanted to leave the team.
On Monday, NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport tweeted that Rodgers has told people close to him he plans to return to play this season.
Later that day, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Packers management, who Rodgers had expressed frustration with during the off season, are willing to make a number of concessions to Rodgers to convince him to return.
